Mayhall's Mighty Readers

 My book was The One and Only Bob. The author is Katherina Applegate. The book is fiction. I think other kids would think this book is funny. The book is about a dog name Bob going to find his sister. He has animal friends that helped him. One of my favorite parts is when they tried to get the baby gorilla out of the mud. They had to work together to get him out. 

 I read Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. It is historical fiction. I would recommend this book to other kids. Number the Stars was about the Nazis are taking over Copenhagen and getting rid of Jewish people. Ellen is Jewish and Anna Marie and her family help so she doesn't get sent away and helps them go to Sweden. My favorite part is Ellen and Anna Marie's friendship and loyalty.
